mid-atlantic

The journey of The Philly Road originates in New York and extends down to Georgia. The Mid-Atlantic region was cultivated by many Western European countries. Philly Road was constructed in the 1750s as a means for transportation from the Mid-Atlantic to the South. The South region is well known for its home cooked soul food and grandma’s old recipes. Come join us on our travels along the Philly Road for some great menu items that will surely leave you hoping to come back.

Mid-Atlantic cuisine is a compilation of dishes from the Italians, Greeks, English, and other influential countries. These dishes incorporate light and fresh fruits, seafood, and other special ingredients. What we know as southern cuisine are products of the soul. The recipes were transferred from one cook to another through the grapevine. The plantation owners had the best of everything while the slaves were left to eat what was left over. Some of the dishes that are now considered delicacies came from the slaves learning to cook with bare minimums that were given to them. Along with the soul food, the south also is highly known for its Southern Hospitality. This hospitality demonstrates a high level of being welcomed and openness.

Our menu offers a wide variety of items ranging from crab to southern fried chicken to two different types of BBQ. The menu is a tour of the Philly Road and offers menu items from numerous stopping points along the road. You can choose to go to South Carolina and have some BBQ that will rock your world, or choose to head north on the Philly and order a New York Cheesecake that will leave your mouth watering for more.
